<p>Is there a list of things that are recommended to bring with us for people going to dorm in stony brook. Like how big a mini-fridge can we bring, or how big a tv, etc... BTW how much is laundry at stony brook, wana know if i should bring clothes home to do laundry if its too expensive.</p>
<p>I have a 4.2cu fridge, I think that's the largest allowed. TV- 19inch perhaps.I mean you don't want to bring one too big that take up space in your car. Laundry is 1.25 per wash/dry by Cash or you can open up an acct through your ID card for 1.15 per wash/dry (which is convenient unless people are lazy to go to the machine and swipe the card in Kelly Quad or SBUnion n add money).</p>
<p>Bring slippers, DO wear slippers to the shower stall please. Bring daily use things. If you don't think you will use it, don't bring it. It will only make life harder with the moving part.</p>
<p>No rice cookers, microwave allowed.</p>
<p>haha if u have a very messy suiteroom u can hide ur microwave under a box with a cloth, the RAs aren't allowed to check under covered things during health&safety ;)
my friend also had rabbits and frogs, depends on how buddybuddy you are with your RA i guess</p>
