So yeah what should you do during the summers? I'm guessing I'm going to get into the school I want to go to already so should I still try to beef up my resume? Should I do a summer program, a Job or like classes? Thanks for answering. Also this is for everyone not just me.

I know that your summer before senior year is important. Many colleges ask you specifically what you did during this summer. They want to see that you are doing something productive.

Avoid taking "I want to skip a year of math so I'll take it over the summer" classes. They would rather see you get a job, do an internship, do some sort of summer research program, or produce something. Everyone takes classes; you need to stand out and really show that you had a productive summer.

I apologize for thread crapping but:

I plan to go back home in the middle east and take Tabla Lessons ( Indian drums ) and visit Family. I then hope to come back in July and get my glider pilot license. Am looking forward to it..

Not sure how this would look to colleges though. Should I be doing something else to look like im not slacking off and just doing fun stuff?

Wazzup, I think that is great for colleges. I'm sure they don't have many applicants that can play Tabla or have their glider pilot license!! (I'm jealous of the glider pilot part!)

have fun and relax

well summer after senior year, most definitely just relax....but before that, internships, jobs, etc.

Whatever you want to do.
At best, this will relate to your intellectual passions, at worst, you'll have a lot of fun.

You can do a little bit of everything as long as you plan it all out.

For me, I'll be finishing up all of my general education credits at my local community college (for my AA) and I'll be gone for about 10 days to go on a mission trip to Belize, and during the summer I'll probably be working (if I can find a job that pays decently).

It looks like it'll be fun :)
