I know you need to put what clubs you're in, volunteer experience, work if possible, awards and recognition that you have received.

Do you need to put what classes you are taking this year? and what grade you received in them?

Is it only high school awards and recognition on your resume or can you put stuff from 8th grade? because I was recognized as first in my class at my 8th grade graduation.

It helped me to give my teachers a list of the schools I was applying to and when they were due. Some of my teachers also liked it if I put some of my favorite memories from their class, and that was reflected in my recommendations.

You could put what classes you are taking this year if you want to, but I don’t think the grade is necessary.

And I wouldn’t put anything from 8th grade on it unless it was something of great significance like national recognition. I doubt they’re going to make an admissions decision based on your 8th grade class rank; they care much more about how you rank in high school.
