<p>I am really confused. The undergrad business classes for finance looks pretty easy in terms of math. It goes to like calc 2. However for a masters in finance, they go into like number theory. So is math really a integral part of finance.</p>
<p>Finance is all about running numbers..so yeah, math is very integral. However, most of the math is not that complicated.</p>
<p>(although I’d guess that there are a small subset of finance jobs that require more difficult math..perhaps financial engineering..someone else could address that)</p>
