<p>To continue the theme of music threads, what songs would you be happy to never hear again for the rest of your life and why?</p>
<p>I have a bunch, but I'm going to start off with the main one.
My Town - Montgomery Gentry. I used this in a slide show for a class last semester. After 3 days of listening to it for hours each day, a few attempts at remixing it to make it longer, and trying to sync transitions to it, I never want to hear this song ever again! This was last Thanksgiving, and I'm still pretty sure if I was in a store and it came on, I would run out screaming. At least I made a perfect score on the slide show.</p>
<p>I read about a guy who drove off an embankment off of an interstate and was missing for about 15 hours before someone noticed that there was a car in the gully. He was stuck. The engine was off but the car's juice remained on. And there was a CD and it had "Shout" by Tears for Fears playing on repeat. He couldn't get to the CD player, so he listened to the song for well over 100 times until he was rescued.</p>

<p>Twice in a row would be painful enough.</p>
<p>They played that song all the time on the local "top 40" radio station until about a year ago. Reason #481 why I don't listen to the radio any more!</p>
<p>All Justin Timberlake, most rap (keyword:most, especially the G-Unit crap), and that's all I can think of right now.</p>
