What sould you do?

Hello,

I’m currently in a dilemma. I was accepted to Berkeley, Dartmouth, and Georgetown. I plan on majoring in business and Haas is very highly thought of in this respect. However, does the prestige of Dartmouth win over Berkeley? Also, Georgetown provides many opportunities because of its location. So, I must ask: What would you do?

Depends on which school gives the most financial aid.

And the location you prefer, and proximity to home. I don't know much about Dartmouth or Georgetown except that they're top notch, but Berkeley is certainly the most well known of the 3.

Im choosing Berkeley over Georgetown's McDonough School of Business personally. However, you should make your own choice and decide where you feel most comfortable. As far as jobs go, Haas will find you as good a job as either, if not better (especially in California if thats where you plan on living).

Dartmouth is so much more prestigious.....ESPECIALLY for its track record of sending people to the top business schools.

College, you're the most shallow responder on this board.
Dartmouth IS more prestigious... it's just that no one knows about it.
And for Business, Berkeley totally owns.

I'm an aspiring business/law person, .... never heard of Dartmouth in that respect either. My personal plans are UCB for ug, then Haas/ Wharton/Harvard. From what I have learned in the course of investigating prospective ug schools for myself, I feel that I will do better with an ug degree from a school WITHOUT well known grade inflation.

i say, go for berkeley, because just in case you dont make business, the other berkeley programs are, for the most part, highly rated......and you will be fine whatever you choose to do.....

you should spell "should" right

p.s. and go to berkeley :)

yeah whatever the guy above me said........
