What Spanish Course to Take?

I just took my Spanish Placement Test and scored a 698 and it said "see advisor". I have obviously placed out of Spanish 202 (only needed a 536), so will that put me in a 300 or possibly 400 level class and will they allow a freshman to take a 300 or 400 level class? It is very important that I continue with my Spanish and I don't want to take a semester off from instruction.

Of course they'd let a first year student take an upper level class. They probably just want you to meet with an advisor to discuss the courses taken at the 300 level and above, because they're different from the ones at the 100-200 level.

^^ Okay, great -- thanks.

Send an email to the placement advisor (look on the spanish dept's website) and ask about your score. He/she may be able to handle it over the internet or he/she will ask you to come in for an office visit some time during the week or so before classes start.

Thanks Cav. Yea, I really want to know which courses I can take so I can begin planning my schedule.
