I'm a distance runner! WOOHOO!

seems like there are a lotta track runners.

funny, cause the only sport people play in my Honors Pre Calc class is track. there is absolutely no one who plays a different sport.

Track, again. I think it's because Track is a versatile and (let's face the truth) easier sport than others. Track teams also often don't have cutting tryouts (I know if mine did, I sure wouldn't be there).

pffft no one plays ultimate?

Another one for track right here. It's the only sport that I can't get cut from besides XC, which I don't want to do since I hate distance running.

volleyball, basketball and crew
i used to run track but i decided to try crew this year

XC and track!

I'm a distance runner... and distance is not easy, Wolfbane! There are obviously people on the team who are really out of shape and just do cycles (100m + sit-ups + 100m + push-ups, etc) over and over (heh, that used to be me freshman year)... but run the two mile and then tell me that track is easy. (;

Cross Country, Track, (Hockey)

Soccer, Indoor and Outdoor track.

"BTW the true studs of track are the distance runners, especially the ones who run the 800 and/or 3200."

America is known for it's sprinters, not for it's distance runners.

Track can be easy for people who don't work hard in it. You get what you put in for track. If you put in a lot of work, you will probably improve. You may never be the best, but you can always improve a hell of a lot. Same with most sports, just in track you can see a definite change by your times or PRs.

"America is known for it's sprinters, not for it's distance runners."
Oh that's where you're wrong dank08. Look out for Ryan Hall, Alan Webb, Dathan Ritzenhein, Galen Rupp, etc. AMERICAN DISTANCE RUNNING IS BLOOMING BABY

Crew...my life.

Also, I do baton twirling, if you can't that. Pretty intense with that...seriously.

Soccer where it's at.

softball...oh yeah, it's intense, running 60 feet base to base. Exactly like a 2 mile run for track :P

Pretty much everything under the sun...tennis, soccer, basketball, field hockey, table tennis and throwball - Throwball - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I don't do anything for school...takes up 2 class periods and I just never had the room in my schedule. I definitely run a lot outside of school, though. 5ks whenever I have a free saturday...I'm slow as hell but I enjoy it.

Lots of runners here, esp. distance runners...probably because everyone with high grades has somewhat of a machoistic streak ;)

I do not play any sports!
And I'm loving it!
Instead I do MASS amounts of community service.
My Freshman Year of High School I took dance classes at a local studio and played CYO volleyball (so neither of those were for school).
My high school is obsessive about sports and have ridiculously long practice hours and it's not about having fun, it's about winning.
It is just not as rewarding for me as it is doing community service

XC is where its at, but i play table tennis and run track too

Yay for table tennis players!

soccer, basketball, and softball

tennisssssssss!
