What State?

Just curious as to what state everyone that is considering attending Purdue is from.

New York here.

Colorado.....

New York.......

California ..........

Missouri .......

New York - Just accepted today- Engineering

My son is from California.

S accepted last year (and attending now) from California.

New Jersey.

ohio.......

Here is an interesting interactive map that will tell you how many graduate and undergraduate male and female students are currently attending Purdue from any state in the US or any foreign country.

http://www2.itap.purdue.edu/registrar/map/world.cfm

(Be careful, though: the percentages it shows you on each state's page are the percentage of students from that state in each category. Not the percentage of students overall who come from that state, but the percentage, for instance, that undergraduate Wisconsin women are of all students attending from Wisconsin.)

Also, some interesting stats on undergrad enrollment:

59% male, 41% female

66.7% Indiana residents

25.6% other states

5.9% other countries

1.8% U.S. territories

only 197 from NJ, I'm scared. My school doesn't have alot of kids go/apply to Purdue. Majority applies to NYU, Cornell, Boston College, PSU, Brown, and other colleges. Purdue is not amongst them nor close to it.
