What subject do you now HATE/LOVE?

love: physics; and the reading comp. part of english, not the essay writing
hate: pre-cal, spanish

I've never really had any sort of preference for math, ever since elementary school its been the subject that will forever be the bane of my existence. But this year my hate for it blossomed and grew and flourished under the wonderful fact that i am struggling in math and would be pleased to pull off a B. -__- unfortunately it will stain my transcript like a wine spill on your white carpet.

love: math, bio, psych
hate: english, gov't, physics
between: chem, history

I'm the same. I used to hate science classes, but now biology and especially chemistry are the classes I most look forward to.

Unexpectedly, I'm getting frustrated with the humanities. I was the girl everyone thought was going to be a great novelist... but I don't feel like I'm challenged to think anymore. My teachers are both brilliant and dedicated, and I respect them immensely, but I'm tired of essays and analyses and lately it just feels like I can turn in any random thing and still get a 7 (A+). Maybe that's just high school in general. I get the grades, but my heart isn't in it.

In science there's no room for bull****, and I appreciate that. I guess I like being held accountable for my work--it's a nice change from getting away with everything because I'm a "good writer" and teachers can't tell when I'm making things up. In that way science feels more real, like it's more of an accomplishment.

That's not the only reason I like science, obviously, but it's something that's been bothering me all year.

In my entire hs career:

fave class: ap bio and regular bio

least fave class: alg. II... didn't understand the teacher at all... and she also teaches calc so that's why i'm in ap stats.

hate: any type of biology...

love: anything but biology (prob. gym b/c i'm hella competitive)
