Since I intend on applying to Georgetown which according to multiple posts requires 3 SAT II tests which one should I take and what are all the tests that are offered?

My strongest subject is history but are there any other social studies subject tests such as Government?

I received a 65 on the math section in the PSAT so should I take Math and work on my Math skills or do I have too much to work on?

I'm currently taking Chemistry and am doing fairy well and I'm taking Biology next year so I don't know if I should do that.

Thanks for any comments, suggestions, or tips.

US History is a piece of cake if you take it right after the AP course in the same area. It’s practically the AP test minus the essays. I took the test three weeks after my APUSH exam and got an 800 while feeling deja vu for half the test. I’m not sure if there are any other social studies tests, but definitely take US or World history.

Are you a science person too? If so, there are SAT IIs in biology, chemistry, and physics. SAT II in biology isn’t all that bad either.

It may look better if you take only one history (take whichever one you just had the course in). I would definitely consider literature (assuming you’re a good English student as many history gurus applying to Georgetown are). For the last one, I think some of the science tests contain material from the AP curriculum. Math is usually easier than the SAT I, so that may be an option. How are you in your language? Perhaps you should consider that.

I’m decent at English but not very good. I got a 65 on the CR section on the psat so should I consider literature or forget about it? If the Math SAT II is easier than the SAT Math section then I’ll consider taking that and I’m taking both AP USH and WH next year so I guess I could take the subject test for whichever class I do better in. And for science Physics is out because I’m probably going to take that senior year so its either Chemistry (which I took this year) or Biology (which I’m going to take next year). I’m not good a foreign language so thats out too.

What do you plan to major in? Take that into consideration. (e.g. i’m planning to become an engineer, thus i should take math and science subject tests)
