What Summer Activity Sequence did you go through for Middle + High School?

Yes, please list out anything after 6th grade.

And if you listed CTY, please list something else, since CTY takes away a minority of your summer vacation's time =P

6th:
7th:
8th
9th:
10th:
11th:
12th:

6th: Age of Empires II and online forums
7th: Age of Empires II, Runescape, and online forums
8th: Integrated II, online forums, Age of Empires II
9th: Pre-Calculus, Runescape (okay, at least I quit afterwards =P), college admissions stuff =P
10th: SIMUW

-summer camp from grades 8 through 11
-leadership thing between 10 and 11 (<a href="http://www.psyl.ca%5B/url%5D">www.psyl.ca</a> - amazing!)
-travel with the family

I'm a believer in summer being a break. This summer coming up is my first actual work summer... but I did work enough in hs to get merit scholarships to pay for a lot of school, so I consider that my previous "work". :)

Before...

7th grade: Writing Camp at a prep school
8th grade: Japan for two weeks
This summer I'm going to Andover Summer Session.

Inquiline, what's the online forum u r talking abt?
For me, first summer prog in the US!
Going to: SVSM. 10th Grade.

7th- Nothing
8th- Nothing
9th- Nothing
10th- Nothing
11th- Possibly an internship, probably work, and definitely a whole lot of NOTHING.

I spend my summers doing all of the things that I love doing that I don't have time for during the school year. I sit outside in my tree and read, write, and sketch. I make movies with my friends (It's kind of funny- I definitely want to go into biochem, but all of my hobbies are very creative). We have family pool parties, and we play Marco Polo =D.

6th: CCB (SAT prep)
7th: CTY (Engineering), CCB
8th CTY (Medical Science), CCB
9th: CCB
10th: CCB
11th: JHU Pre-College, Korean SAT II Self-Study
12th: Hopefully, a trip to Korea and/or courses at the college I get into.

Little-Big family vacations throughout. I can't exactly remember when we took all of them.

The new CCB I went to for 10th and 11th was VERY beneficial to my grammar and my vocab. Math was lacking, but I was good at that section anyway. The local CCB I went to before that was a waste of time, honestly. I really wish I had taken more college courses to show some passion. :/

6th: nuthan? (the good years)
7th: tested out of pre-alg and alg but mostly nothing
8th: tested out of health and foundations
9th: planning to test out of communications and pre-cal, satII bio, ap exam, and self-studying computer science (before taking the course)

But mostly, my summers add up to little more than nothing.

soccer every year and a summer camp for 6 and 7 and then a different one from 9th-11th. otherwise some traveling and stuff

6th: Church summer camp. Sucked like no other.
7th: Nothing...
8th: Discovered CC
Projected:
9th: Plan on volunteering at a hospital, learning how to drive
10th: More volunteering, maybe a summer program
11th: No idea.
12th: ROAD TRIP! with one of my friends. I plan on bringing my computer because my CC addiction is incurable.
