My interests are in order of how much I like them
1. Comedy
2. Politics
3. Inventing new things
4. Website Design
5. Working with small children
6. Reading

Any summer programs related to these things? For next year of course. Unless they start after 12 this summer.

Oh ya and some personal information. Going into sophomore year.
3.8 GPA UW (Two B+'s in Honors English. Bad teacher.)

Taking Geometry everyday 8-12 because I was sick alot during 8th grade.

You should probably apply to volunteer at a children’s hospital, since you like working with children. Also, try volunteering at your local library. Whenever you don’t have something to do, you can grab a book and start reading. Using your computer skills, design various websites. Of course, you can list this on your college admissions resume. You should try doing these throughout the school year.
Honestly, these are just few possibilities among many.

For the summer, however, begin doing some research concerning summer programs and internships. I’m sure you’ll find plenty of opportunities with reach. Best of luck to you!

Fellow rising sophomore.

Thanks for the input. I would design some websites as I have a few ideas but I am crushed from taking two courses this summer + summer assignments

Probably nothing like this exists but are there any improv programs where you actually perform? I’ve been looking but can’t find any.

I would recommend volunteering at a library or at a local museum. If not those, a pre-college program or some art-related workshops.
