<p>There would’ve been a WW2 sooner or later. Because Germany wanted revenge. You have to go and stop WW1. But then there would be a great war now. You can’t alter history because things will happen sooner or later.</p>
<p>You sure as hell can alter history if you prevented events! Bad things will happen no matter what, but who says they would be the same bad things or of the same magnitude?</p>
<p>It’s not like backwards time travel is possible, though. And if it was, history would include the deeds of every time traveler anyway.</p>
