What test can I prep for in a month?

Yea so I took the SAT II US History and got a 720 but I still need one more test to take. I want to get it out of the way in October so I can retake the SAT I in November... my math is horrible and I hate math so Math Level 1/2 are not an option for me... do you think Literature is easy to prepare for in a month? I got a 730 verbal SAT score, should lit be easy to prep for?

math IIC is probably the best choice is you took precal, then you only need a review, preferably barrons

i said math isn't an option... i've tried studying for it before didn't work out so well...

oh sorry...well lit is really hard supposedly and people who even get 800s in CR SAT get 600s in lit..you really have to try a test and see...i would suggest a science if you can't do a math...a science that you recently completed

How about chemistry? Is that study-able in a month, it's been about a year or so...

Chemistry isn't that bad from what I can remember, and I didn't even study since I had taken the AP test three weeks before that so I forgot everything but things still worked out well. As long as your teacher/you established a strong enough foundation in the most important chemistry concepts then a months worth of review is definitely more than enough, so good luck with that.

Thanks buddy :)

hmm... I just had an idea... can I submit the US History and the World History scores as my two required subject tests?

You could, but I can tell you that most if not all colleges will not appreciate this because they'll see it as a lack of well roundedness, so might I suggest taking at least one other.

I believe all subject tests are easier in October. So it would be wise to get some of them out. 2C is a good choice since its scale helps (need 43 out of 59 to get 800)

umm ok new idea... i took regular biology in 9th grade, so i don't remember much... would i be able to prep for the SAT II bio in a month?

I think it's doable.

I got an 800 on the CR section of the SAT I, took Literature without any preparation, and got a 750. If you're halfway decent at English it really shouldn't be too hard.

SAT II bio = not recommended! It's impossible to prep for in one month with only an ancient 9th grade bio class under your belt. Your best bet is Lit...you don't really need to prep for it, just practice by analyzing a few sonnets and you'll be fine.

bio is possible under 1 month

Hi everyone. I have two queries :)

1) Is it possible 2 remember everything that needs remembering just by reading carefully the materials? Do we really have to rmemorize the exact date/name of an event OR just the reasons that lead to and follow that event ?

2) So, there is only more than one month left for me to cram for the test (added to it is I'm an international student, don't study in the US-->can't take any US courses). If I read extensively all the materials I have in hand (sparknotes, AP notes downloaded from the internet), will I stand any chance of getting a 650-700?(my dream score is exactly 700:))

Much obliged ;)

I wanted to echo Cameliasinensis's post. I got an 800 CR, 760 lit. Lit's tougher than I expected, but not bad.

...bump...help me please ;)

internator 43/59? what is that?
