<p>I'm thinking about retaking in september/october. my question is what test should I retake?</p>
<p>I got 1820 on the SAT: M 670 CR 560 W 590</p>
<p>I got 26 on the ACT: E 26 M 30 R 21 S 28.</p>
<p>Obviously something went wrong with reading on the ACT, and I did little to no studying for it, But I probably should have done better on Critical Reading on the SAT. In practice test I usually got in the 620-640 range. I thought my 670 was a fluke until I got 30 on the ACT in Math. </p>
<p>What test should I retake?</p>
<p>It really depends on you and your experiences. Both scores are roughly similar, with your SAT score being maybe slightly better than your ACT. That being said, which test do you feel more comfortable with. For example, since I took two SAT courses, I am retaking the SAT instead of taking the ACT. </p>
<p>Also, you should know practice tests can only give you a certain perception of how you will do on the test. A 620 - 640 range on CR is not terribly far from 560 (60-80 points). On my practice tests, my highest CR score was about 70 points higher than my actual score, so I am in a similar situation.</p>
