What tests should I take?

Most of the colleges I plan on applying to this fall accept for standardized testing requirements either the ACT with writing, or the SAT Reasoning with 2-3 Subject Tests. I was planning on going the first route, but now that I got my SAT Reasoning scores back, I'm not sure. Should I:
- use my SAT Reasoning to apply to colleges, and now take some subject tests?
- use my ACT w/ writing to apply to colleges?
- retake either of the ACT/SAT?

My scores are:
ACT Composite 33
English 35
Math 31
Reading 34
Science 33
Essay 12

SAT Composite 2290
Math 690
Critical Reading 800
Writing 800
Essay 11

What's frustrating is how narrowly I missed a 2300, or a 34 on my ACT (if I had brought any single area up one point, it would have bumped my composite up). Retakes? Subject tests? Anything? What should I focus on and submit to colleges* ?

some of the ones I plan on applying to are super-super-selective

Also, if it matters at all, (and as if you couldn’t tell from my SAT  ), I’m much stronger at humanities/social sciences than math/natural science, and plan on applying as a major in one of the former areas.

bumping 10char

Bueller? Bueller?

If your scores and your other stats are average to above average for your schools, then don’t retake. They’re comparable and very competitive. A 2300 won’t get you in and a 2290 won’t keep you out.

I’d take the SAT IIs and submit your SAT score.
