Can you tell me what textbook Cornell Chinese classes use? OR give me the link for it? I seem can't to find it on their website. Thanks so much!!!

^ Some language classes don’t use just one text, or a text at all!

For a couple of mine, there was no textbook listed in the course page/the terminal at the bookstore/anything.
First day of class, the professors handed out these huge binders of materials (some they had written) they felt was most appropriate.

Search a little more, but if you can’t find it, don’t stress. If after the first day of class, there is a book, you’ll still be able to pick one up.

Yeah I just want to prepare myself the Chinese Entrance exam because I do not want to start in introductory. That is why I want to prepare myself just in case I get accepted or something. I want to be place in at least Chinese Intermediate III or something like that. :).

There isn’t really a placement test. Well, there is, but all it is is an essay. And most people got placed simply by talking to the instructors.

go here [The Cornell Store for Faculty](http://store.cornell.edu/faculty.html)
if the term is coming up soon, you can click on textbook verification and find the book that the professor ordered for the class. Usually books for the fall aren’t up until sometime in summer.

Or, click on course history. This is a searchable database for all courses that have used textbooks in the past. This would probably be a good place to start, but keep in mind books sometimes change from year to year (usually a new edition).

To use these, you need a netid. I assume you don’t have one yet, so if you want to, PM me with the courses you are looking at and I can look them up for you.

Thanks!! i have send you a PM :)… My guess netid dont work lol
