What the biggest number of AP tests you've ever taken in a single year?

Is 4 during junior year and 6 during senior year considered rigorous?

Five this year, four last year. What wasn't cool was that because I enrolled for a class at a university, I had that three hour final during the week of AP tests, and the day right before I had to take two.

It never even entered my mind about self-studying until I came across this board waaaay too late in the game. =P I wish I had, because I so would've, but now it really wouldn't matter. Oh well, my AP's got me out of some lame required courses at my university, so I'm glad. =]

Yes.

10 last year. That was MADNESS, but too bad 300 wasn't the joke on CB then...

im sry this doesnt really belong here, but do you think 7 will be too much (next yr, sophomore)

chemistry, world history, european history, macroeconomics, microeconomics, human geography, psychology

thanks for your input:)

^^Are you not taking any math (besides economics) or English classes next year? I think that taking both World and European History in the same year may be a bit much. Personally, I'd say go for it! Just make sure you're up for the challege!

AmbitiousMind07:
thanks! no, im taking honors algebra 2 & global literature b/c they're required. my school offers some aps but im only taking one at school (chem) b/c there are many restrictions. im going to self-study all of these...ive gotta start this summer! thanks again!

7 is too much for me but im doing it. but damn! 10 is max.

I took six in one year.

Six for me, which is pretty close to the maximum you could take at my high school. (I guess you could do seven if you did both of the offered semester exams, but I don't think anyone's ever done that before.)

I only took 4 last year (Macro, Micro, Comp Sci A, and World History [ew.])

but

I'm gonna take six this year - Calc AB, Calc BC, Stat, American History, English Lang (or is it Lit? I forget - always get those confused), and Physics B (and then I get more fun with some subject tests [2/3] and IB tests [2] )

Except Calculus AB and Calculus BC are mutually exclusive and thus can't be taken simultaneously.

3 tests, this year. I'm a rising senior though, so I'll probably take 4 or 5 next year.

Took 4 as a junior and got 5s on three of them, a 4 on the other.

Planning to take 5 as a senior, maybe 6 if I self-study micro.

4, next year as a senior. Can't wait ;)

6, but yeah....all 5's and only 1 4 (**** english lang)

haha, they let the people who took bio and physics in the same day eat at the beginning of the physics exam.. i guess it started kinda late, and it finished literally like two minutes before physics.

i think it was breaking a rule, but you know, you can't starve kids

7, this year. AP Physics C, Eng Lit, Macro, US Gov, CS A, Bio, French Lit.

English Lit and French Lit were on the same day. I used a French novel for my English essay for a mental review. Paid off, I got a 5 on English and a 4 on French =D

My son did 5 APs and one college math class (calc III). He didn't seem to be overworked or stressed. Did well in all the classes and AP exams.

I'm doing at least 6 next year :/
Latin Lit, US Gov, Macroecon, Calc BC, Euro History, English Lit, and those are just the for sures lol.
