What the heck....help for US history

I took the AP us history test and got a 5

I took the SAT II us history test in June at got a 690. the thing was, I thought i ACED the test and would get a 800. i read amsco and pr for ap us history/sat II also.

now i am retaking it this sat. and hope it will be much better. has this ever happened to anyone??
so far, the only explanations i can come up with are that i either read the questions wrong (like EXCEPT questions, etc), bubbled wrong, or collegeboard made a mistake on my report.

so i'm freaking out...

ME TOO! except that I got a 670.....I was so sure that I can get AT LEAST a 700 if not 750+.....
I'm freaking out too but I don't really have much time to study for it again...
What do you think?

Happened to me too. I got a 5 on the AP and did well in the class but then got a 710 on the SAT II. I didn't think I aced it, but I definitely expected a 750+. I think it had to do with the fact that the questions were detailed, and a lot were trick questions.

Anyway good luck.

I'm taking that test tomorrow. =/ I thought I did well on the SAT I when I first took it and my score was...not so good. ^_^'' And then when I took the AP Spanish Language test, I felt I bombed it and got a 5. Maybe I'm weird like that...

hmm..so are you guys retaking it??

i am just studying extra hard and making sure i read the questions CAREFULLY.
aghh

well good luck to you guys!

basically i read all of AMSCO again these last couple of days.

I'm re-taking the SAT in November.

wow, a 5 on the AP Spanish Language test? No one has ever got that at my school since the course started being offered.
