What the heck. Is anyone able to access FA and ResLife tabs? Or am I out of luck?

I got in, yay (A&S honors, biochem).

Now the real stuf…

Has anyone’s BC portal changed at all? I’m asking because they said it would change the 27th and it still looks the same. I’ve even heard of some people being able to do stuff days ago. Am I the lone accepted student in this unfortunate position… or are there others?

Thanks in advance.

I juuust checked mine 30 seconds ago and it looks the same. I don’t think anyone’s has changed yet, but I could be wrong. I’m betting on sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Side note - do you have any idea what the requirements were for honors? I have a 2350 SAT and unweighted 4.0 GPA (4.24 weighted) and didn’t make it…?

There are no requirements for the program. Had 2060, 1370/2110 superscore. 31 ACT, 33 SS. 3.9+ GPA.

Sorry you didn’t make it. I read on the site that it’s only offered to the top 5% of the incoming class… avg CR+M = 1450. But they said they look for “off-beat” students… the quirky ones… I guess I fit their mold.

Your stats make you competitive for every school you can think of. Is BC your top choice? Where are you waiting to hear from?

Yeah, I just looked into it a bit and came to the same conclusion. Congrats to you! That’s awesome - the curriculum sounds really interesting.

BC is my top out of the schools I’ve gotten into so far, but I have a slew of decisions coming in the next few days, so we’ll see. This week, Tufts and Brown are my ultimate dream schools  But if the financial aid for BC comes through, I may well end up there.

BC is my top out of where I was accepted. Waiting on Brown, too. Fingers Xed.

My portal changed, but when I click on the FA link it says that I currently do not have an award (or at least it isn’t available) – anyone getting this? Should I be worried?

@ambreylouise I have the same problem.

same with sons portal…it shows the enrollment fee line, but does not work yet

I have NOT yet gotten my letter yet, but my two tab changes are there. Others have assumed that this would indicate “accepted” but my Pay Enrollment Confirmation Fee links back to a checklist of application materials, and one person from the EA round said that may mean… the unfortunate case.

Does anybody have any input? Thanks…

My son hasn’t received his letter yet and his pay enrollment confirmation fee link also goes to the application status page. But since he’s able to drill down on the FA tab to where they ask for an access code, this got to mean acceptance?

@Rastaman I think I’m in the same boat as you… Although my FA tab is obstructing me because I have not submitted all of my documents yet, I’ll assume that’s the problem and not that I wasn’t accepted.

Good luck to you and your son when the mail comes today, hoping for a big package for all of us (innuendo aside).

Hey every one, my tabs have changed today and I couldn’t access my financial awards or the tabs to pay my enrollement fees. Does this change mean an acceptance? I am really worry since I haven’t hear from the college yet and BC is my second top choice. Thank you

Yes, if you have the enrollment fee and FA tab, you’re in. I got into honors, and am still linked back to the Applicant Status page (checklist, test scores, etc) when I press “Pay Enrollment Fee.” Good job to you.

Thank you, this made my day! BC was my dream college. Congratulations for you all!

YouKnowWho… Congratulations you’ve officially made my day.

I’m 0/5 so far, so I needed this, plus BC is solidly 1st place for places I’d like to live for four years (knew immediately upon visiting). I know CC’ers have amazing stats ranging into perfect GPAs and perfect SATs, so my 2280 SAT is relatively adequate (lol) but I must admit I did not think I’d be 0 for 5 by now.

Congratulations to everybody who got in; If you have not visited yet… Just wow. You have got to see the beautiful campus and the town in which it is situated.

If our financial aid package is unavailable because we have not yet sent in our taxes, is that bad? Does it mean we will get less financial aid? I am really heavily dependent on aid to attend BC but it says they have not yet received my taxes although my dad filed them.

Ambreylouise: I believe your father also needs to fax copies of tax return and W-2s to BC financial aid office. We did this in February, so they have all our required documentation.

I actually just spoke with him: he called the aid office, and they confirmed that I did indeed need to fax in those forms. Luckily, they said my package won’t be less than it would have been if I had already sent them in – it will just take longer for me to find out what I got.

Thanks for responding!
