can't people just fake this form?

Well technically speaking, couldn't you fake your teacher and GC recs too? Most people (I hope) don't because of moral issues.

Does a certain college require peer evaluations? I haven't heard of any that do--in my school they're used by our GCs so they can add additional information to their recs that will make it seem more personal.

Dartmouth and Williams use them-

^Ah, I see. Thanks, b'smom.

To see if you have friends...to see if anyone actually likes you?

Personally, I know somebody who wants to go to Dartmouth. She is a pretty grade-grubbing person, and nobody really likes her...It was a real problem for her to come up with anyone to do it for her. She ended up having her sister write it in pure desperation.

Plus, a personal friend can sometimes more directly describe you than either yourself or a GC you've met 3x. They may reveal something that makes you really you. if you think about college as marriage, it's sort of the blind-date philosophy...you hear from another person about how great applicant x is.

lol i have no answer for this question.....i guess to have a different viewpoint on the applicant?
