My HS doesn't have one and I don't know of any school that does. However, many CCers say that they were a part of it, so I'm just curious, What do you do?

it's a service organization. im not part of it, but i know that they help out with like charity walks for cancer, they had a haunted house to raise money for unicef, they promote drug free living with events at schools, i'm sure your school has something similar since it does not have key club

my school has key club but the people never call me to come to the events and I always sign up for them too, grrr

It's a community service group. It's associated with the Kiwanis Club.

A similar group is Leo Club, which is associated with Lions Club.

I've always wondered what Beta Club is.

it's the high school version of kiwanas Club

"What the hell is a Key Club?"

... interesting approach to a club you don't know about :p

According to the website at http://www.betaclub.org/

*The National Beta Club promotes character, develops leadership skills, encourages service involvement, recognizes achievement, and provides technological advantages to students in grades 5 - 12. *

The website states that there are 7,000+ National Beta Clubs in 45 states with 400,000+ members, but I personally have never heard of the organization.
