<p>Apply as early as things open up. I don't mean that you need to get things in at 7:00AM on the first day that apps are up, but reasonably soon. </p>
<p>Make sure you get your DoDMERB and fitness test done well before any deadlines. If you can improve your fitness scores, it is worth it to wait a little while to do so.
<strong><em>Always check your status</em></strong> If something doesn't show up within a few weeks, place some phone calls.</p>
