<p>Not really. Junior year is probably the most decisive year. Besides, if you’re applying EA/ED, most people find out before they get their first semester senior grades. Don’t let your grades slip too much, 3.0 unweighted is fine, but try not to let it get “that low.” but if you get a 3.0, it won’t deter you from getting admission usually. Try to maintain whatever GPA you had from the previous year or improve it. Senioritis may be temporarily good, but can be disastrous as well.</p>
