Pretty self-explanatory.

Danny, we can check out our acceptances on Tuesday.

If your letter was in the wave that went out Friday, but keep in mind more letters are still to come...

We can find out tomorrow if we were in that first batch.

I just want to know when I can stop hitting the "refersh" button on my browser.

If they decide to release the decisions to the select few that had their decisions mailed out on Tuesday, do you think there is a chance that the letter itself may have arrived before the third day?

It would all depend on where you live.

Do you guys think it'll be right at 12:00AM Tuesday? Or would it be like 5:00PM Tuesday?

Best info we have is from Asst. Director of Admissions's blog comments:

Hi Brian. Let me just clarify one thing. I did some digging and found out that decisions are available online on the 4th day after the decision letters are mailed. Let me explain... hypothetically, if your decision letter is mailed on Friday, you should be able to see your decision online first thing Tuesday. (If your letter is mailed Friday, then you have 1. Saturday, 2. Sunday, 3. Monday. 4. Available online Tuesday!) Sorry for the confusion before. Also, please keep in mind, everyone, that there is no way for you to know EXACTLY what day your letter will be sent, so if you can't see your decision online it's probably because the letter just hasn't been mailed yet! We're hoping to finalize all decisions within the next week. Thanks for your patience!

you should be able to see your decision online first thing Tuesday.

From that, I would believe 12:00AM Tuesday.

this may be a stupid question, but where do i even go to check online?

I heard 3 days. Damn.

you should be able to see your decision online first thing Tuesday.

From that, I would believe 12:00AM Tuesday.

does that mean, we have 9 hours to go?

If they were being released at 12:00AM EST on Tuesday, then we would have 8 hours 3 minutes :p

i dont think midnight is meant by 12:00 AM

^ wow aykut. if 12:00 is not midnight for you what the heck is your definition of mid-night

did anyone check to see what time they were released on last year's boards? that might give us a hint...

Just searched around:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/carnegie-mellon-university/480387-decisions-online-friday-3.html?highlight=midnight
it says 10pm, which is 12am EST, so I'm guessing it is midnight. :X But only for the people who got accepted, apparently. This is so confusiiiing. @___@

oh man, that stinks. especially if they send it out in bunches...

oh, btw, you all can thank me for directly asking Jaycie Galbraith to explain WHEN we would get the decision :)

Thanks bco09 :P
