What time does exeter email admission decisions?

Does anybody know what time Exeter emails their decision for admission?

Usually around 5-6 AM I hear  There is a thread with all of the times somewhere around here…

I remember seeing 6 am somewhere

Anytime between 5:30-6:30 EST.

Thank you!!!

Does this apply to all students including international ones?

International Students should receive electronic notification the same, but sending mail around the world takes time so I’m not sure about that.

@thereddevils, also recall that the United States adopts Daylight Savings Time this weekend. For many other countries it is the last weekend in March. Adjust accordingly.

6AM EST email.

The timing of the email varies. Looks like they send them in waves. We got our email last year (2014) around 5:30 am EST.

Has Exeter sent an email to all the applicant about the timing? And does anyone here know for sure when Exeter will send out the results?

I do not think they email applicants about the timing. I can say my personal experience was that in 2011 we received an email from “decisions@exeter.edu” at 6:16 AM, in 2012 it came from “admit@exeter.edu” at 5:56 AM.

What was the format of the decision? Did the decision come in the email, or did the email give you a link that showed the decision? @RedSoxFan18

@mathman1201 the decision is in the email.

Thank you!

The email has a link to a “welcome to Exeter” video. I don’t remember if it was hosted on Youtube or on the school’s servers. But it was a well done video/song.

They’ll send out two emails at most (one with the result, and a second with a video if you make it), and generally early in the morning, 5-8 AM. If you are accepted, you’ll get a package a few days later with more information!

Another question guys. My sister graduated from Exeter and my other sister who applied for Exeter and got waitlisted received a decision March 9th, via voice-mail telling her she got waitlisted. Apparently, if you’re rejected or wait-listed and if your sibling went to Exeter, out of courtesy, they call you telling you the decision before. At least that’s what happened to my family. Has this happened to anyone else?

If they do this, I have one other question. I didn’t put any phone number on my application for whatever reason. Do you guys think they’d contact me via e-mail then the day before (which is tomorrow) if I got rejected
