<p>So, what time does the common app 'go live' on 1 August? Is it midnight EDT, or do I have to wait until a reasonable hour? At that, do I have to wait until a reasonable hour Hawaii-Aleutian time?</p>

<p>But in all seriousness, I don’t know. But why would you want to start at midnight? I plan on creating an account and beginning on August 1, but wouldn’t it be better to be well-rested so you can focus and perform at your best?</p>
<p>Because I’m more awake at midnight than I am later in the day, plus it gives me more time to look over the electronic process before school starts.</p>

<p>I’m curious about this as well. My sleeping schedule’s kinda wonky right now, so I’ll most likely be awake tomorrow at midnight, and it’d be nice to mess with the site a bit before I go to bed.</p>
<p>I remember last year it was sometime around 7pm of July 31st, I think. But c’mon guys…we have the rest of the year to finish all our apps. Would those few extra hours really matter? </p>
