what to bring for move-in?

I'm about to be a freshman at USC! Very excited.
But I was wondering, from anyone who went/goes there or knows someone who does, what would you suggest I bring? I know they offer cable service and all that, but is there really room for a tv?
I'm living in Fluor tower. Any suggestions, for any item, helps.

I’d like to know too! Living at Parkside A&H

By the way, I asked some of my friends who already go there and they tell me to bring some underbed storage, like drawers and stuff, and a laundry hamper as well. Pretty basic stuff I guess? They were kind of vague.

But I guess it makes a difference if you live close or you’re from farther away. If you live close, you can always go back home the weekend before school starts to get stuff.

well im from the bay area, CA…
so pretty much, anything i leave either has to be shipped to me or flown/driven down whenever i or my parents get the chance. so i definitely want to get everything out of the way on move-in :]

That’s true :)

If you haven’t already, you should talk to your roommate & suitemates to see what they’re bringing, so if they have something that can be shared, definitely do that! I’m doing that with my roommate now, seems to be working nicely.

Both Fluor and PAHRC have common rooms so there is room for a TV. Flour has more room though. BTW, cable is free (like 100 channels) but you have to pay if you want HBO.

I would suggest Plastic Bins to put under your bed. A laundry hamper or basket is pretty standard or else I don’t know where you’d put your clothes.
