What to bring for orientation

Is there a list of what I should bring for orientation?

Do people usually bring a backpack and another bag?

And how do I find Rieber, anyone know where the directions are?

Thanks a bunch.

orientation.ucla.edu has a map of where to go and a list of things to bring, its basically just clothes and maybe a backpack to walk around with

They'll give you a cinch backpack, so you don't really need another one.

Do we need to bring a laptop?

The cinch backpack is flimsy. I had a 2006 one, and it ripped after a couple of days.

A laptop is helpful if you want to play around with schedules. The computer labs were quite full when I went for orientation, but I'm sure it will be fine even if you do not bring a laptop.

yea the laptop really helps when planning out schedules, i had some conflicts in my ones i planned out ahead of time and i spent a lot of time trying out new ones on the laptop in the room. if you bring one make sure to bring an ethernet cable if you want to use it in the rooms
