What to bring to Cornell?

basically, on every prelim or test i have taken, I have only been able to use a basic scientific calculator. You never get a calculator for math classes, at least in my experience and others. You can use whatever calculator you want for doing your homework, but for tests, be prepared to use a simple scientific one, or non at all.
i guess they think that you can store information in there...or in math classes, have the calculator do the problems for you. I do love my ti-89, and took Multivariable and linear algebra in high school using it (and becoming dependent on it) But when I took those classes again at cornell, no calculators were allowed at all. And trust me, doing triple integrals and row reducing matrices by hand is no fun, but you have to do it.
