What to bring to Cornell

would it be worth it to bring a tv? where would you put it, would you need some sort of tv stand? and is there enough space? my roommate seems to want a tv but it’s kind of stupid to split it cause then what would you do with it at the end of the year, and i don’t want to make my parents pay for one right now…plus i feel like it would be kind of crowded?

also, anyone who lived in Mews (or CKB), are we responsibile for the bathrooms? like keeping them clean, and what about toilet paper, hand soap, etc?

I know a few people who brought TVs, but it really is not a necessity. Most people just placed it on top of their dressers.

If your roommate wants a tv, tell them to bring it (that way you don’t have to worry about splitting property)

No, you are not responsible for your bathrooms (unless you absolutely trash it). It will be cleaned, and all the toilet paper and hand soap will be replaced.

What is double hanging a closet?

^that’s double hanging.

does donlon hall have an overhead/room light or just the desk lamps?

seconding rftennis’s question

the housing site says donlon only has desk lamps

I stayed in Donlon during Summer College and there were only desk lamps and I wish I would have had a big lamp to light up the room more.
