Okay, so my interview for Harvard is scheduled for 6:30 in the evening today, which is right around dinner time for most people. What should I bring? An apple pie? Some cookies? A bottle of wine or maybe just apple cider? I'm such a nervous wreck. Do I bring a resume? Or just myself? PLEASE HELP.

Resume, activity sheet, copies of an excellent research paper, essay, story, etc. that you have done. None of these things are necessary, but bringing any can help the interviewer get a quick overview of you and your interests, and thus focus the interview in a way that allows you to highlight your strengths.

I had my interview last week. He asked me to bring my HS transcript and a resume/list of activities. Near the end of the interview he asked if I brought any writing samples with me that I would like to submit to the admissions office. I already sent them with my application, but if you didn't send any writing samples, it would definitely be a good idea to bring some along to the interview.

If the interview isn't at their house, perhaps you could ask for a business card or something so you can write a thank-you card to them later.

don't stress out, just be yourself and you'll be absolutely fine. Most interviewers aren't out to get you.
