What to bring to my internship

I'll be attending a 7 week internship and I won't be going home any time during that duration. I really don't want to go there and forget essentials, so here is my current list:

-Clothes
-Shampoo/Conditioner
-Soap
-face wash, etc
-plates, bowls, cups
-fork, spoon, knife (?)
-laundry bag
-Sheets, bedding
-phone
-computer
-1 binder with lots of paper
-pencils, paper
-Kindle
-Flip flops, sandals, keds

Anything else? Thanks!

If it is at all possible, I would bring a printer… Just because you don’t know if they will require any documents or anything. Judging by your username, you are most likely female and tampons/pads will be a must (awkward though that may be on a forum haha). Just don’t forget medicines or anything important like that!

As awkward as it is on a forum, thank you for reminding me! :)

Toilet paper?

I think we are provided with toilet paper :). If not, well, I have no clue what to say. Haha

Well, if you’re not provided with soap it seemed like a safe assumption.

Lotion. ;)

Wait… you’re not a guy.

Well I meant bar soap. Like a dove bar soap for your body. Haha.

oh crap! Thanks! I almost forgot lotion O_O

Do they not have drugstores where you’re going?
(I never worry too much about packing every little thing because I always forget something anyway.)

I think that joke went over her head harasNN.

Concentrate on clothing. You will need to have business, business casual and outdoor, wear. GL

It did, TheKongo. Far over.

Hey guys. Okay. That totally went over me… But com’on guys, SERIOUS STUFF HERE. ;p

I am pretty worried about clothing as well. It’s pretty causal, but one day we will be presenting and we need to look formal.

Look at college checklists, you’re packing for a similar occasion.

Bring nice clothes for sure, you don’t want to have to buy them on short notice. Money too, if you are going to be exploring the city you’re in (or town or whatever). Which you should do.

If you don’t have a car, a bike is much faster than walking for anything other than short distances.

Chargers for electronics. Minifridge if no fridge provided. Towels.

If you have to cook for yourself, pots and pans, microwave, etc.

It wouldn’t hurt to bring a roll of toilet paper, if it’s the kind of place where it might not be provided, you don’t want to find out you don’t have any when you’re on the toilet…

If you play sports or exercise, stuff for that.

LOL. Never forget that. But for girls, I’d make sure not to forget an ample supply of cucumbers. Lotion would help too, I guess.

Oh tissues! The tissues at most places are VERY uncomfortable ;)

“But it’s summer! I won’t get a cold!”

Allergies. Duh. That’s where I’m using the tissues.
