What to do about changing senior year stats?

Hey,
Ive applied to 17 schools, about 7 being reaches (thought id take my chances) but whats so upsetting is that senior year I really found my way in school. I am a A grade student, I shadow a doctor, I participate in more extra curriculars. I already applied to all of my schools, is there any way I can use what Im doing now to help my chances? Or would I just have to wait for a denial and then try to appeal? Thanks.

If you can get interviews with these schools, do that. If you are a minority, perhaps get in contact with your specific department. For example, my friend applied to Georgia tech and reached out to their Hispanic department which sounds like will be very helpful with admissions.

You should also send your mid year report with new grades of your first semester classes.

An appeal is only useful if there was an Error in your package. It won’t work because you feel more competitive now. If you really feel the need you can ask your GC to send a follow up note with your interim grades and you can E-Mail your continuing desire to attend the college. While a good senior year is nice it doesn’t wipe away the three years prior.
