What to do about GPA...

<p>On the Common Application it asks for your cumulative GPA so is it safe to assume that it wants your cumulative rank? Or your rank according to most recent report term?</p>

<p>Also, if one's school does not officially rank, is it still appropriate for one's GC to find a general rank (e.g. top 10%) to put on the app?</p>

<p>Yes, they want cum rank and if your school does not rank, colleges will use grade distribution info from your school profile or other means to aproximate your rank.</p>
