So in math we do station work, on one of the worksheets I didn’t show my work because I’m able to solve it in my head since I didn’t show my work my teacher took off 4 points. My friend didn’t show her work on the same page I didn’t but my teacher only took off 2 points for her, when I mentioned it to my teacher today she said that she didn’t change grades. The problem is we both didn’t show work but I lost two more points than her? This dropped my grade from a 99 to a 97 which I worked hard for and I just don’t think this is fair, what should I do?
What’s wrong with a 97? Aren’t they both A’s?
Show your work in the future.
Live with the 97 and move on.
@bodangles @suzy100 The 97 is not what’s bothering me here it’s the fact that me and another girl made the same mistake but she got less points off than me.
You’re still in middle school, so these grades don’t even matter. Just live with the 97.
I appreciate your concern, since you sound just like my DD#3, but you have to pick your battles. The teacher said no, multiple times. Show your work and end the year well.
@Bobbybob444555 I don’t care about the 97 I just think it’s unfair. This grade does matter for the high school I was accepted too, if my grades drop after my acceptance they have the right to withdrawal it and accept someone on the waitlist.
An A to an A is not a grade drop. Relax.
