Ok, so I got into USD for bus. finance, and UCSD for management science, but I got a spring grade request from USC. The thing is, I have exactly 90 units after this semester...the max for transferring to UC's, so if I want to go to UCSD I could not take another class.

But I told USC that I would take two courses over summer (one pre req, and one GE)

What should I do? Im thinking if I don't get into USC Ill go to UCSD, but USC is my dream and I dont want to mess that up... So Should I let them know with my Spring grades that I can not take summer school unless I know Im in, or wait and see if I get in, then tell them that when I got in it was too late to take summer school, which will be the case, and see if I can take these courses upon transfer? I mean, If I get notified quickly by them, I may be able to find a ccc offering these courses later and somehow pull it off, so I kind of want to just leave it up to fate the way it is.

what does showing them your spring grades have to do with summer school? i'm assuming you have to send an updated transcript. so if what you're worried about is not having your transcript say that you'll be taking whatever summer courses, just enroll, and if you don't get into usc (to be blunt), just drop them. i also don't think ucsd would care if you take summer classes, they might just not give you credit for them. in fact, you should call ucsd and ask if you can take summer classes even though you know you won't get credit if you're worried

"To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles?"

Even though it didn't work out so well for Hamlet, I think you should delay and see how it plays out. USC takes forever to process anything you send them anyway.

Hey easy, I think that is what I will do. It just feels right and did before I wrote this post, so I will go with my gut on this one. I think they will understand if I get in late and I explain my situation. I will still call UCSD though and see if I can take summer school.
If I am meant to get into USC, than it is meant to be. I want it more than anything, but part of life is overcoming disappointment.
