Is there anything I can do to increase my chances at USC now that everything is complete and I am just waiting. I have been emailing my regional counselor, but I didn't know if there was anything else I could do to show interest.
One thing I wasn't sure about- I just finished up three more college classes with all A's last semester. Should I send a new and updated transcript to USC now, or will it really not change anything? (Had 4 A's from 4 classes on previous transcript).

USC is my top choice, and I just don't know what to do now other than wait.

Quick stats- 4.0 UW, school only offers few AP's and Honors
SAT- 2180 710CR/670M/800W

Thanks!

Yes, sending mid-year reports is a good idea - and including the college report with all “As” is a very good idea.

Good luck!

Please have the college FAX in the grade transcript now. You can send an e-mail to your counselor telling him/her an additional transcript will be coming.

Keep in contact with your counselor, but do not bombard the person with too many e-mails. Go to the undergraduate admissions section on the USC website and read the December blog regarding the organization and sorting of thousands of documents. It is remarkable.

If you sent in your application on or before December 1, 2011 the persons invited to interview for the Mork, Trustee and Presidential Scholarships should be informed in late January.

Alright great! Thanks both of you.

I have to go into my community college and make another transcript request in the next few days so I’ll just add USC to my list and have it sent there as well.

My counselor came off as really nice in the initial emails. Is email their preferred method of communication? I ask a few questions in each email and it seems to take over 24 hours for a response. Not that this is bad… JW
