What to do after receiving the admission?

Hi, i have just received the admission to Stanford a few days ago via email.
They told me that financial decisions would be made in "few weeks time".
As an international applicant, I will not be go to US for the campus visit
and talk to the professors there.

What i can do now to increase my chance of getting the fellowship, TA/RAship?
thanks in advance.

There is nothing to be done by you. Your department is going through their normal process and will tell you their offer shortly. Congratulations.

received email informing me that i have been granted fellowship + RA
to cover my living expenses and tuition for the first academic year.

Ni-SDC, do you know whether stanford’s matsci department is still sending out acceptance letters? Have you heard of anything?

ecnerwalc3321:
i am not sure if they are still sending out acceptance letters.
in their first email which informed me the admission on Jan 28, they said
they would schedule the campus visit on Feb 21.

is that their only visit date?

why don’t you ask the department? why do you think this guy knows any answers? he is lookin for help himself here.

ecnerwalc3321:
i am not sure if this is their only visit day.
I guess BrownParent is correct in that i am not the authority to answer these questions.
hope you can get the reliable answer from someone else.
