<p>What are some good ways to get involved and keep active at schools where the social scene is minimal (i.e. tech schools or schools that just are not known for the parties)..I was thinking maybe joining one of those club sports but I'm not too familiar with those; would it be wise to spend equal amount of time on and off-campus?</p>
<p>you could volunteer around the town (boys and girls club, church-related things, habitat for humanity, etc). intermurals is a possibility but I find that often it can be awkward if you join by yourself and not with friends. you could also join a club/organization that the school offers that you find interesting. there’s a wide variety of options. college is not just about partying!</p>
