Hey guys,

For those who are living off-campus this semester, what do you guys do for lunch? I am thinking of getting a small meal plan (650pts) since i will have class after lunch. Do people tends to pack their own lunch? Eat around telegraph/durant or just get food from bear's lair and other on campus store (Ramona's, GBC)?

Feel free to discuss and make suggestion :D thanks guys!!

Prices on campus are ridiculous.

I just go with a small meal plan. Lot of people make their own stuff or buy, but that’s a hassle and I don’t like carrying around change. I’d rather hustle down to Cafe 3/Crossroads whichever is closer and then hustle back up to campus. Or I’ll get a sandwich from GBC whatnot. Wouldn’t ever recommend buying snacks from those stores though. Absolute rip.

I’m getting a meal plan. Buying groceries and cooking seems like a hassle.

bump bump bump/ any addition suggestion/experience that people want to share :D

The stuff here is friggin expensive but then again, actually cooking would be a bigger hassle, I think.
Since I got here on Sunday, I’ve only been having 1 legit meal per day…in the morning I eat a small bowl of cereal (I have milk in the fridge and cereal in my dorm, I’m gonna make it last forever). For lunch, I’ve found a convenience store and Walgreens nearby, so I’m stocking on cheap snack stuff.

For dinner comes my 1 legit meal of the day And there you go, my noob freshman meal plan.

If you’re in the dorms, you can go on Batman’s diet plan: Sandwiches from Peet’s…every Sunday through Thursday for dinner! For lunch, occasionally get XRoads and fill up on those veggies and fruits.
Sandwiches galore!!!

I went so much one of the ladies remembered my two types of orders. :D

If you don’t have meal points and are going to spend money, then go to the places off campus!! Maybe just stock up on snacks and fruit to keep with you.
