What to do for MCAT Prep?

Yes, Ive read most of the threads here briefly, but some questions remain unanswered. I want to know everything I can. What are the good test prep review courses? (BR, PR, Kap, what else?) Which of these are actually horrible and should I stay away from? What are the good books to review? Is it the same strategy as the SAT with just knowing the material than crunching through practice tests? Do they give out or sell previously administered exams? What else is there to do other than practice tests, reading the prep books, and taking the prep review classes? Differences between SAT (with regards to section, info, and differences in how to prepare for it)
Thanks, Ill take any info I can get. The rest, I will try to find online on my own if no one responds, so dont chastise me for asking 'stupid questions I can find on my own'

DS1 took SAT two years ago. He was not very stable (3-9 incorrect) during the practice on CR and got slightly over 700. He has been working on a few verbal reasoning in EK100 (both timed and untimed) lately. The score has been much more stable (2-4 incorrect) with around 3 answers guessed correctly. He had a few solid humanity courses requiring a lot of reading and writing during his freshman year. And, he read textbooks for the science courses and research papers as part of his lab work. Both might have helped. In his opinion, the MCAT VR is not much more difficult than the SAT CR. Many posters probably disagree. Since he will start the research in two weeks, I will get another benchmark by the end of this summer.

You can try to work out a few tests in EK100. Start out with untimed to familiarize with the tests and see how stable your are. Then, switch to timed to see if your reading speed is good.

thanks … so ek100 is where it’s at… this is a book and not a course prep right?
and yes reading speed is my problem. i rarely read as its not interesting
