Hmm...how about we get back to the original question? :)...I'm applying to Harvard RD (applied to Yale early...9 days till results are out...eeks!)...I'd probably be okay with getting deferred because I'm applying to good safeties. But being rejected would be harsh at the moment. Anyways, there's always UPenn and Brown and other top LAC decisions to look forward to :)...so in the end I'm hoping it's all good.

Hey, my name is Ale and i need serious advice from someone who knows what they are talking about. Im Guatemalan- America but I've lived in Guatemala all my life. I go to a small school (like 80 people in my HS), so small that we dont even really have a guidance cousilor. I feel like my whole application expirience had been from a very uninformed perpective, for example, I was completely unaware of what the SAT was until last october, I had no idea that the SAT IIs exsisted until about october, in a way im really disadvantaged (until I get on to websites like this one and realize how obsessed everyone is with college and think maybe im not in such a bad position;) But anyway, what do I do now? Deferred? What exactly does that imply? I need help!! When can I submit new materials? What should I do?? thanks a million! With love from Guatemala
