As the title states, I have attended two secondary schools, i.e. high schools. And, in the commonapp, there is a secondary school report. Do i need to fill up 2 secondary school reports?

Yes. You would need two transcripts from both schools.

OK, do I also need two school counselor reports and two additional teacher recommendations?

I don’t think you would need two more teacher recs

You need two transcripts, one counselor rec, and however many teacher recs your school requires. All you need in excess of what’s normal is the transcript from the new school in addition to the transcript from the old school.

Transcript includes the counselor rec doesn’t it?
I mean if i fill up the secondary school report twice, I need to ask both of my counselors for a rec letter. And, a high school profile as well, I believe. Or at least thats what I would like to know.

***…why have I never heard of this??
Submitted my early app yesterday…will they penalize me if I dont send in that extra transcript/the school postmarks it, say, nov 3 or 4???

And yeah, I’d like to know if the old school needs to fill out a secondary report, too…or if they can just shoot off some copies of transcripts.

^ you don’t need two transcripts if your old school sent your records to your new school.

Ask your guidance counselor if they have your grades.

Second, you only need secondary school reports from your current school.

DS is in the same boat and wanton is correct. You will need a counselor rec from the school you graduate from, and official transcripts from all schools attended. DS needed two teacher recs and ended up getting one each from the two different high schools he attended.

This is my understanding. I called the admissions office at Stanford, and they said it’s okay to send only one transcript as long as it has the grades from your prior school(s). I’m sure this applies to other schools as well

Thank you everyone
