What to Do if I Don't Want to Take a Test?

So I have registered for the SAT Subject Test in US History, but I really don't want to take it after reviewing and taking practice tests. A few of the schools I am interested in want to see all tests, and while I wanted to take a social science to add a humanities to Math 2 and Physics to make me seem well rounded, and I'm also taking APUSH, but I don't think the score I am going to get will be beneficial to my application. I seem to do much better on in class essays than MC quizzes, so I am confident about the AP Exam, but I am not happy with my practice tests for the Subject Test.

The College Board says that it does not allow one to cancel a test once one has registered. How do you recommend I get out of this? Do I just show up, take the test, and ask for it to be "destroyed" or cancel it by Wednesday? What happens if I don't show up? And I don't know if I can trust myself on giving the test in if I feel more confident, because for some reason I felt more confident on the practice test I did worse on. I also don't want to move it to June 7th, the only date it allows me to move it to, for a fee, because I don't think that's enough time to improve my score, and I also don't want to take 3 tests on the same day, for June 7th is the day I'm taking Math 2 and Physics.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It does allow you to cancel a test. I just did that in December - I had signed up for both Biology M and Math IC. I just took Math IC and walked out before they started the 2nd exam. It never says ‘‘didn’t go’’ on a transcript or anything like that.

If you’ve registered for one SAT subject, just don’t go on test day. The only thing you’ll lose is the money spent.
If you’ve registered for more than one SAT subject, just go to the test centre, do what you want to do, and leave before the last SAT, which will be the one you’ll skip.
