What to do if i have a counclelor who is a bad writer?

<p>i understand that counselors have to write stuff for the college application process, but i do not have faith in his writing abilities. </p>

<p>Also regarding letters of recommendations. He's a very nice guy but not the most advanced writer.</p>

<p>He once wrote something for me for a scholarship contest and it was 6 sentences and very generic.</p>

<p>I dont want to insult him by asking my school's "college counselor" write it and not him, but i dont want to decrease my chances for acceptances.</p>

<p>HELP ANY suggestions?</p>

<p>If you know your school’s college counselor well enough, as him/her to send a recommendation letter also.</p>

<p>In any case, I think a generic recommendation letter simply won’t help you as opposed to hurting you.</p>

<p>Just ask your college counselor. This isn’t a situation to worry about hurting people’s feelings. </p>
