There’s a place in walking distance where you can rent canoes and kayaks. If you befriend some grad students and are over 21, you can go to the d-bar (main grad student hang out, grad students and their guests only). Don’t really know about other bars - going to bars is not really part of the undergrad culture at princeton. Undergrads will probably be having a lot of room parties. There are lots of good ice cream places - Thomas Sweets, Fruity Yogurt, Twist, Halo Pub, Bent Spoon. There’s a small movie theatre (princeton garden theatre) right next to campus. There are probably still a lot of shows at McCarter Theatre, and the art museum is probably open. You could take a walk over to the institute and explore. And of course go into NYC. That’s all I can think of right now.

thanks! i especially appreciate the ice cream suggestions, i love ice cream!

Hey! I’ve lived in and around Princeton my whole life and tbh I think it’s one of the greatest towns. As stated above, Fruity Yogurt and Thomas Sweets( I went there yesterday xP) are two great places for cold treats. If you are looking for lunch, dinner, etc., be sure to hit up HOAGIE HAVEN. I honestly don’t think a day in Princeton is worth it w/o going to Hoagie. Also, you can shop all along Nassau if you need to. There’s this place called PJs pancake house that serves THE best triple chocolate pancakes xP. Another place I like to hit up is lax unlimited so if you are into lax there you go. I hope you have a good tine and maybe i’ll see you there :P
