What to do in the summer

I'm a community college student in south bay Los Angeles and I am majoring in electrical engineering (we'll see if I do good in physics first though before its a for sure thing).
I'm taking ordinary differential equations (petitioned), cal 3, and electromagnetic physics. I haven't been able to take any real engineering courses because I got to a community college and I am rushing the major prep and was trying to rush GEs too. Basically I have not took one summer or intersession break.

I did a very stupid thing and applied to Math REUs, not knowing math REUs have high requirements compared to chem and physics. So I got rejected to one and am drop dead certain the other one will follow.

I have no classes that my school offers that need to be completed. I could take a somewhat related class like Econ or stats for the hell of it. But unless I pay for CSULB's summer courses without FA or travel 20 miles a day to take classes in Pasadena or Santa Monica community college, I'm screwed for the summer.

Any help, tips, ideas? Motivational messages? Hell, even complaints or insults?
I don't want to waste my summer. Non career related jobs are great for money but I prefer to blitz my lower division requirements in order to finish UG in total of 5 years.

Bumppity bump bump

You could take extra related courses or do some jobs to make money. Any courses that can help you finish sooner or perhaps kill time. Whatever you do, try not to waste your time during the summer time :)

It sounds like you want/need to take summer classes, so why not go for it?
