What to do now, after my ACT practice test?

I just did my first practice ACT test with very little prep and i got a 34 composite (33 English, 35 Math, 34 Science, and 33 Reading) but I wasn't paying attentiotn to the time so I had all the time I wanted for each section.

My SAT score is 2030 and I've been having a lot of trouble improving my CR and Writing scores

Should i just focus on the ACT for now and take the test in january ( I'm a junior) or focus on the SAT more?

How should I go about improving my ACT score? I have a book called McGraw Hill's 10 ACT practice tests that I got from a friend.

Should I just do the practice tests in the book, but time myself on all of the sections?

Thank you

throw the un-timed act test in the garbage and take a timed one…

It’d be best to time yourself…you have to be pretty fast to do well on the ACT.

Well you want to time yourself because time is definitely a factor, especially for math.

Regardless of what test your pursue, get some strategy guides and practice tests. Iterate reading the guide, taking parts of the test, review your errors and results.

Your initial scores are good so I wouldnt worry about taking both tests. Focus on the one that you get the best results with.

I did a timed one for the reading and science sections and got very similar scores, I had had to rush a little for the reading section but science was fine.

Are there any sources online where I can get an ACT practice test similar to the real one? Because I think that the ones I took were a bit too easy…
